Had a great experience with this facility. Our brakes were overheating and we needed to get our vehicle into a shop quickly, we lucked out and were able to get in the next day and worked with Tommy. Our vehicle is a beater 2001 Town and Country. It’s a beach car and we are trying to do minimal work on it. Tommy went through all the areas that needed work, and while it was expensive to us, it was reasonably priced based on the extensive work. I asked to see underneath and he showed me all the issues. I asked him about getting the car to drive again and piece meal it because the car isn’t worth much. Tommy offered advice on the most important things to fix and we worked through getting the frozen calipers replaced, along with a control arm. The rotors needed work along with the pads and he recommended them but was super cool about doing the work we wanted to fix the sticking brakes. Within a day, the car was ready to go. Tommy was super great at explaining everything, listening to our concerns and what we needed, and was a cool funny guy to talk to. We will absolutely use him in the future and more than likely this vehicle will need more work. But he saved our vacation, saved us from buying a new car, and extended the life of our beach car. Highly recommended mechanic!

I had my 88 Pontiac Fiero towed to Master Auto Center after the main GMC dealer Jim Falk had refused to look at it after keeping the car for over two weeks at their facility, citing liability concerns for dealing with older cars and possible lack of parts. The initial problem that I suspected was lack of fuel, so Tommy checked the pressure from the fuel pump, and it was indeed pulsing and low. After replacing the pump, the fuel pressure was in spec, but the car would not start because of a short at either end of the fuel rail. After replacing the ECM, the car would start but not sustainably. Finally, the distributor cap and a fuse were replaced, and the car ran erratically but enough to get me home. After discussion with Tommy, I replaced the ignition control module, and the car now runs very well. Overall, Tommy is short staffed, but he had the patience to trouble shoot and obtain parts from a variety of sources, when the main dealer gave up. It was a complex set of faults with multiple systems failed or out of spec and he managed to systematically work through the issues. I will use his services again in the future, as there are few garages on Maui that will take the effort to keep classic cars running.

Took my car in for check engine light. They were very kind and I also received a military discount. Car had same issues after first repair. Brought it back for further repair. Received the car back with the check engine light still on with new issues.

Tommy worked with me and with a couple of speed bumps in my vehicle repair, he was able to make professional advice on the best solutions to the problems that presented it’s self.

This is second time I’ve used Master Auto for vehicle maintenance. Having a great mechanic in a place where EVERYTHING is crazy over priced is a good thing. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely fare when pricing your job. This last visit he got me in right away and had me back on the road in less than 4 hours. I thought for sure it was going to be at least a week and charged me much less than I expected. If you’re looking to stay local with a mechanic who is fast, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! Make Master Auto your first choice.
