I went in there for a new tire. Once I got there all the staff (including the owner) was super friendly. The price of the tire was lower than what I had been quoted over the phone. For the price I expected them to only replace my tire. Well, they ended up replacing my tire, taking my spare tire off my car, installing the new tire, and then placing the spare back under my car, all at no extra service charge. I think I found me a new mechanic!

Wow, I was really impressed with the quality service here. Lani and the staff took great care of us. We came in to patch a flat. But what we found out was our rim was chipped causing the tire to leak. Had we bought a new tire, the same problem would happen again. Thankfully the staff showed us the problem and gave us several options with prices. We felt like we were in good hands. Lani even took the time to educate us about tires, showing us several options. They do more than tires here. I’d suggest going here for your automative needs. They take walk ins, but call ahead to ensure they have what you need like parts, etc.

I don’t care what anyone says. I’m new to the island and this owner operator has only been respectable and fair. I’ve bought used tires and had my rear brakes done and he has always given me the best deal possible. He will have my business as long as I live here.

I’ve never used Yelp, and yet here I am signing up for an account just to talk about Hisamotos. I was hit in a parking lot. My 2006 BMW had a pretty deep gouge that went from the quarter panel, down to the bumper. I was very scared that there was no way to fix this without replacing both the quarter panel and the bumper. If you’re familiar with the lines and creases of a BMW, I’m sure you could understand my skepticism. I spoke with some friends beforehand that were convinced it could not be done. When I brought it into Hisamoto’s the guy called the rental car place to confirm my reservation, told me it would only take a couple days, and that it would look like new. I got a call two days later telling me that my car was done. I thought it must be a mistake. This was being done on the dime of the other drivers’ insurance carrier; so I wanted to be sure that the work was unquestionably perfect, otherwise I would have asked them to replace my bumper and quarter panel. When I picked up the car….it was PERFECT. I walked around the car for about ten minutes actually trying to find problems with the work; I could not. The total billed to the insurance company? $1100. I’m convinced that they must be sorcerers to be able to get that kind of quality work done for that cheap. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody out there for any sort of body work. Very, very impressive stuff. I still have no idea how they recreated the crease and lines, but it certainly wasn’t bondo….trying to figure it out will likely keep me up at night…

At first, I was WARY of buying used tires, but when I went to the shop, I was astonished at how honest and helpful the owner was. He took the time to look at my truck and instead of pushing me to buy 4 tires, he said he could rotate them, and I would only have to replace the 2 bald tires saving me a ton of money. He then took the time to show me the stock of tires, explaining to me what each of the tire numbers meant. ex. 225/70R15. For 2 meaty tires,mount, balance and rotate, I spent $90. It was done within minutes. Goodyear and Maui Off Road gave me quotes of $500+ for 2 tires. I will always be buying my tires at SR from now on.
