Wow – what a wonderful place to do business! I am so impressed!! I am a single mom, on a painfully tight budget, and desperately needed new tires for my car. Discount Tire and Automotive had the least expensive tires – they even beat Costco’s prices. I took my car in and they had them on in no time. All the people there were super friendly and personable. The fellas checked my brakes, at my request, and told me the front brake pads would need to be replaced in a few months, but the back pads were fine. These folks could easily have taken advantage of me and said I needed new pads/brakes, etc, but they didn’t!! They were just as honest as could be. It was SO refreshing to do business with these kind folks!! I recently had an issue with a slow leak in my tire, so when I took my car in for the free tire rotation (for getting my tires there) they found a nail in the tire and fixed it at no charge! Who does that nowadays!? And again, it was all done very efficiently, and I was out of there before I could get my grocery list done. : ) I highly recommend Discount Tire and Automotive. I will never take my car anywhere else. They have proven themselves to be an honest and reputable car repair service. I am very grateful to have found them!!

Would not use them again, pre ordered a tire from then took almost two weeks longer then they said it would to arrive, finally came in it wasent the one I ordered they over charge me, Then they go to put the tire on my vehical, one of the employees with a bad attitude and no brains jacked my truck up on the metal frame underneath my door and caved in the under body of my truck, no apologies and no aloha best they could do was give me a 10% discount on my next visit. One of the worst decisions I made

Do not even bother with this place. Went there for a basic safety inspection- Patao was closed. First, the mechanic had no idea what key to even use for my car but tried insisting on trying to drive my right hand classic anyway. He laughed when I told him you break it you buy it. Thank god my man was with me to bark at the a hole to get out of my car. Then, during the safety check another guy comes walking over on the phone and asking me questions. I asked him who he was talking to and he replied “with the guy who lets me do safety.” He then proceeds to run the inspection pretending like he knew what he was talking about – this classic has been my daily driver for 7yrs and I’ve never had one ounce of drama in safety inspections. When there is no white bulbs anywhere on the rear of a classic, that’d be the first indicator there’s no reverse lights – white lights won’t magically appear without white bulbs. And yes, you can pass a right hand drive. And no, there is no spray for the wipers. After not knowing left from right, the guy came back saying my insurance card wasn’t good enough. You mean the one that dmv accepts, law enforcement accepts and every other safety inspection I’ve passed in two different states for the last ten years? What’s the best is, if you didn’t accept that insurance as valid then how come your office did before the inspection ever started, when the lady collected my money? This place is a joke, move on fast.

Great experience! I came in a bind with a budget that would not allow me to buy new tires. Tommy and the staff worked with me to find the tires that would fit into my budget but still give me a quality product and great service! I would recommend this shop for not new and used tires alike!

I have been dealing with Tommy and his crew now for over 4 years… And every time has always been a pleasure! These guys know there trade well & are all extremely friendly and easy to do business with. These guys took great care of my old Maui Cruiser… & now that I’m driving my newer 2013… I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. I once bought a new set of used tires… A week and a half later I Got a unrepairable flat tire in one of them… Tommy ( the owner ) actually felt really bad for me and gave me half off on a replacement tire which matched perfectly my OEM Equipment… That’s what the island is all about. It’s not found on our beaches…its found here at this Tire Store… Where the ownership truly cares about his community! And his customers!
